SARS-CoV-2 (causing COVID-19) by Real-Time PCR
Preparation:
The swab should be taken in the morning, before taking food, fluids, medications or 3-4 hours after the last meal or brushing the teeth. Before collecting the material, do not brush your teeth, use mouthwash, lozenges and chewing gums.
The nasal swab should be taken after a period of at least 2 hours from the application of intranasal antimicrobial agents (drops, ointments, sprays).
Do not rinse or blow your nose before collecting the material. Removable dentures should be removed prior to collection.
Your results will by available after maximum 48 hours. You can pickup it in person, shipping by e-mail, shipping by post or shipping by courier. Please inform us if you would like to receive an English version of your result.
